FILM FESTIVAL

THE CANDYFLOSS FILM FESTIVAL
The Candyfloss Film Festival is a showcase of collaborative efforts of directors, screenwriters, actors, and crew members in Candyfloss.
The Candyfloss Film Festival is held once per semester.
Dates will be announced early in the semester. The films shown are a representation of what Candyfloss has worked on over the past semester, and provide filmmakers with a goal to work towards.
INFORMATION REGARDING SUBMISSION
To submit a film for the Candyfloss Film Festival, view our Upcoming Events. Here you will find the soonest Film Festival, and info on how to submit your entry for that showcase.
All Candyfloss filmmakers are guaranteed submission into The Candyfloss Film Festival. However, availability may be limited.
The only requirement to submit a film is that the majority of cast and crew associated with the film are members of The Candyfloss Creative Initiative. (You can get around this by having your cast/crew join Candyfloss!) Other than that, there are no content guidelines (be tasteful), no time restrictions, and no barrier to entry.
Creators retain all the rights to their work, with minimum oversight from us. This serves to provide members with something severely lacking in today’s industry: freedom. Films made by the Initiative are a representation of the aesthetics, mindsets, and passions of the community that worked on it.
At the end of the festival, a winner will be awarded a small cash prize via audience vote.
WHAT KIND OF FILMS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are mostly interested in narrative-driven shorts. However, we accept anything! If it was made by members of Candyfloss, and is clearly a result of passion and love of filmmaking, we would love to showcase it.
